Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking undertaken in October/November 1991 by M.Porter. 1173 sherds of Roman pottery were found, including greyware, colour-coated wares, samian, mortaria and amphora sherds. A single coin of Crispus (AD 322), a piece of Roman glass, a piece of bronze sheet, imbrex, tegula and box flue tiles and local slate were also found.
