Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking in 1978 recovered Romano-British pot sherds, including Samian, greyware and colour-coated ware, some with barbotine decoration. Also a mortarium. Published ngr TL03409530.
{3} Roman settlement (TL 034953) N of the village, on Cornbrash at 45 m above OD. A scatter of Roman pottery, including Nene valley and samian wares, has been found.
