Full Description
{1} A bronze tanged "lancehead" was found in c.1958. Classified by M. Seabourne and retained by finder. Approx NGR TL076876 (found near footpath).
{2} A 'tanged lancehead' is said to have been found in about 1958 at TL076876.
{3} TL 076 876: A tanged bronze implement, classified as a 'lance head' by Mr M Seabourne was found beside a footpath by Miss J Upex circa 1958.
Mr B Rowbottam, Headmaster of Polebrook School, who reported the find said Miss Upex was a pupil there but has now moved away. As far as he knew she kept the find.
