Full Description

{1} 8 coins ranging from two plated severan denarii to two issues of the House of Valentinian, found in 1991 by RFJ Kings.

{2} 95 Roman coins and other finds including bracelets, rings, spoon etc found during metal detecting. Identified by Mark Curteis, Northampton Museum.

{3} 30 late Roman coins and various other items, found in 1994 and identified by Northampton Museum.

{6} 3 coins ranging from a coin of Constantine I to a probable coin of the House of Theodosius found in October 1992. 10 coins ranging from a denarius of Vespasian to a coin of Gratian, 2 paris of tweezers and lunala pendant with possible cavalry connections found Oct 1992 and Feb 1993. A further 5 coins dating from an issue of Tetricus I to four issues of the House of Valentinian. Found August and September 1993.

{7} Finds made 1984-8 include some 105 coins, including one Republican denarus, two 2nd century and the majority 3-4th century down to Arcadius. Other finds include Samian sherds and a mortarium stamp of Similis. A further 16 coins were found dating from Tetricus I to House of Valentinian and two fragments of a copper alloy bracelet.

{9} A collection of 62 Roman coins, various metal objects, and Roman sherds found October-September 1984.
