Full Description
{1}Well preserved ridge and furrow field system comprising a number of interrelated furlongs. Inter-relationship of field system, church and village are particularly interesting.The Inclosure hedgerow pattern is also substantially intact.,{2}Extensive area of furlongs with headlands, joints and meadow in rolling countryside surrounding an isolated church. A windmill mound and the deserted vill of Little Oxenden are included with house platforms and a hollow way, and there are hollow ways at the NW of Great Oxendon. There is some medieval documentation. Enclosed 1767, 150ha.
