Full Description

{1} Finds from 1980: Romano-British pot sherds (some with incised decoration), tiles and a quern fragment.

{2} Note prepared in 1992 for owner. Find: Late Iron Age quernstone, millstone grit, hole in base for central pivot and hole in side for wooden handle to manipulate stone in its pivot. Examples found elsewhere in the county, especially at Hunsbury Hill. Similar examples are held at Northampton Museum.
