Summary

The stone part of a sheet metal workers building in Narrow lane is thought to be part of a barn, and one of the earliest surviving buildings in Northampton. The two lower storeys are stone, and the third floor in brick. Dated 1850 in the brickwork. It appears to have been demolished since the 1967 survey.

{1}Small post medieval building; lower storeys of stone; thought to be part of barn dated circa 1750; 3rd storey is of brick with date of 1850; still in use in 1967 by sheet metal worker S.H.Clarke; situated on corner of St Andrew's Street & Narrow Lane;
