Summary

C.V. Parsons Leather Warehouse (Formerly W.E. Deeley, Leather Agent). A three-storey leather warehouse on the west side of Margaret Street. Brick-built with a pitched roof covered in Welsh slate. Ordnance Survey and other maps, suggest that it was built circa 1880. The frontage building appears to have been demolished and the building to the rear converted into residential use.

{1} Circa 1880 building at 36 Margaret Street; two-storey brick building with slate roof & further three-storey brick building set back from street; still in use in 1967 by Kirkton & Dobbs & Company.

{2} Circa 1880 building at 36 Margaret Street. Factory as still in use in 1967 as Kirkton & Dobbs & Company. Fronting onto Margaret Street is a two storey building with slate roof. Set back from the street is a three-storey brick building with slate roof. There is an exterior wall hoist.
