Full Description

{1} AD C20th ironstone tramway and quarry pits; in 1929 quarrying was moved from the cherry orchard area to a new quarry alongside the Rushden Road. It was served by a branch tramway. The Chester House group of quarries were closed in 1930 and the tramway was lifted.
