Full Description
{1} Blencoe's Brewery on west side of Market Square.
{2} An archway leading to Drayman's Walk was the entrance to the brewery yard of William Blencowe and Co Ltd. This was of 15 quarter capacity, and was powered by a 14 horse-power horizontal steam engine made by Lampitt of Banbury. Brewing ceased in 1925 and the premises were then used by the Hallamshire Vinegar Co Ltd. The surviving building is two storey brick built and now used by the Brackley Band Club.
