Full Description

{1} Estate brickyard; kiln still standing in spinney in 1990.

{2} Remains of brick clamp still in moderate condition. Date of construction and period is unknown. Associated area of quarrying, now overgrown, was not inspected. A second clamp nearby exists in a ruinous state.

{4} Rectangular brick kiln, approx 8m x 5m, much overgrown. Walls reinforced by lengths of rail, driven into ground. Known operating dates are 1883-1901, although it was never shown in directories
