Full Description
{1} The Metropolitan Brick and Tile Company (Irthlingborough) Ltd had a Sercombe's Patent Improved Perfect Barrel Kiln. The site was taken over in 1918 by The Ebbw Vale Steel, Iron and Coal Company. There is mention of a medium sized works closing circa 1910 (could this be the brick/tile works to the east [7197/21]?)
