Full Description
{1} Sparse to moderate scatter of medieval and post-medieval pottery, clay pipe, flint and bone. Moderate scatter of limestone - most undoubtably natural but some larger blocks which may be structural. Appears to be concentrated along the Well Lane frontage.
{2} Four test pits excavated within application area recovered small sherds of medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and two Romano-British sherds of pottery, in addition small pieces of limestone were recovered, but none can be interpreted as building rubble. Finds probably associated with manuring or soil dumping.
