Full Description

{1} Deer leap at Boughton House, Weekley. Marked by and set back to the park wall on the Geddington to Grafton Road. Built structure of post medieval date. Consists of a ramp from which the deer would leap or be driven into the park. In the medieval period this might have been represented by a break in the paling/fence at the site of the surviving leap?
