Full Description

{1}One of two evaluation trenches were excavated between St Giles' Street and Dychurch Lane. The trench, right-angles to Dychurch Lane, was more heavily disturbed. Stone wall-footing, floor levels and part of a tiled floor attested to occupation on this frontage. Most of area had been removed by Victorian cellars and pits.
