Summary

Probable tree mounds in Rockingham Park. There are eleven small circular mounds, up to 9 metres in diameter and 0.5 metres high. These are all probably 18th or 19th century tree-mounds, connected with the landscaping of the park.

Full Description

{1} 11 small circular mounds 9m diameter x 0.5m high and overlying the ridge and furrow. Probably C18th/19th tree mounds connected with landscaping in the parkland around the castle.
