Full Description
{1} A worn trackway was traced over 130m.
{2} T.C. Welsh interprets this feature as part of an enclosure, c.450m long by 200 wide, contained by 4 or 5 banks sometimes merged, sometimes separated by ditches, over a width of 25-30m. It may signify a defended settlement rather than a fort. Cf 6653/0/1.
