Full Description
{1} River channel with a date of prehistoric to medieval period with possible minor fluctuations. Excavated at West Cotton, but also evident at Mallows Cotton. Late medieval date is suspected for the demise of the channel and subsequent filling of the flood plain with a thick layer of alluvium.
