Full Description

{1}One (or possibly two) courtyard farms - comprising two rectangular buildings arranged around a small yard. Rectangular paddocks are located to the rear. A circular mound of uncertain purpose located in corner of the largest paddock.

{2} the earthworks to the north of the manor are of a different character with two rectangular buildings arranged around a small yard which opens onto the side street. These buildings, together with a third located close to the junction with Cotton Lane, appear to have been provided with rectangular paddocks to the rear. A circular mound is prominent in one corner of the largest paddock. The form of the earthworks suggests one or perhaps two courtyard farms which bear some similarity to 'Tenement F' at West Cotton.
