Full Description

{1}2 ditches cut into subsoil; both butt-ending in Trench A; C12/13th pottery recovered; also foundations of stone wall revealed running parallel to Fetter Street; ironstone blocks with rubble core; later than ditches & contained C13/14th pottery; piece of ?medieval painted window glass recovered from stratified layer; surface traces of design depicting structural motif & probably a church; 2 lancets evident surrounded by linear ornament forming brick work; illustration;
