Summary

A small, almost square enclosure was revealed during quarrying. No internal survived but a few sherds of pottery in the ditch suggest it was Iron Age

Full Description

{1} Small almost square enclosure measuring 12m by 11m; enclosure ditch was 1.20m deep below the alluvium. No surviving internal features, but pottery sherds found in ditch suggest that enclosure may be broadly contempory with Iron Age settlement.
