Full Description

{1} Commercial Street. Aug-Sept. 1975. Beneath 19th-century disturbances and cellars, a brown featureless loam extended down to natural sand and gravel at a depth of 2.30m. Several medieval and later sherds, a few animal bones, oyster shells and iron slag fragments were found.
