Full Description

{1} Sir Langham's Almshouse was founded in 1682. Located at the junction of Bridge Street and what is now Victoria Promenade.,

{2}Gothic building in St Giles Street one of which is the almshouse for almswomen of St Thomas's Hospital. A small neat chapel where divine service is held. Removed to here in 1834.,

{3}St Thomas's stood on the east side of Bridge Street, just outside the South Gate. In 1834 the residents removed to a new house in St Giles Street.,
