Full Description
{1} Site of Evenley Hall Park "gamekeeper's cottage" known as Lower Addingtons. Was sold in 1938 as a well-constructed cottage with three good bedrooms, an entrance porch, living room, kitchen , larder and coal house. Reportedly demolished in the 1970's. The house appeared to be of early 1900s style. The children at Evenley Hall used it as a holiday retreat in the 1950s [the hall and park had been presented to the National Children's Home in 1941].
