Full Description

{1} Substantial bank runs between lodges on Kingsthorpe Road & Kingsthorpe Hall in Thornton (Kingsthorpe) Park; bank is about 10m wide & damaged on both sides by cultivation ridges; bank crosses valley & runs beneath ha-ha of Hall; possible headland dividing field system or boundary or road embankment;

{2} Linear earthwork circa 10m wide in Thornton Park forming headland between R&F, but extending across valley and to Thornton house from behind lodges. Possibly a former roadway, although towards NW end R&F appears to cross bank.
