{1} Letter of December 1759 to Mr Caryll "Inclosed you'll find the catalogue of flowers which I shou'd have sent before had it been necesaary for your Garden - I dare answer you may purchase of Mr Kennedy Nursery-Man at Hammersmith the whole (wh. Will supply you for Ever) for less than two guineas and there is not an annual that is not rais'd with the greatest Ease. If they answer your Expectation and you can read my Gardeners fist I'm Happy - Mr Wattkins as well as you humble servant are much obliged to you for your recommendation.
