Part of a well-constructed cellar visible in a water board trench excavated in 1975. Possibly associated with the public house that stood in this location (its later name was The Warwick Arms)

Full Description
{1} The upper part of a well-constructed sandstone barrel-vaulted cellar visible in north face of water board trench. The cellar was running beneath the present footpath and road for at least 300m in North-south alignment; internal width was 3.30m. Largely filled with loose rubble.
{2} The Warwick Arms public house (formerly known by many other names) stood in this location.
{3} A cellar is known to have been constructed in 1820.
