{1} Earthworks noted in field surrounding rectory. T.C. Welsh speculates as to their origin. Possibly 16th/17th century garden earthworks and site of building, perhaps related to Vaux manor or landscaping around the Old Rectory? Earthworks include banks and ditches and an ornamental mound (939/0/26 and 939/0/28).
