Full Description

{1}Lake shown on Badeslade's drawing of 1732 and described in 1792 as a fish pond of ten acres. By 1883 the original lakes had silted up, but 20th century lake now stands in same location.

{2} The 1810 OS preparatory map doesn't show the lake so it must have silted up by this time, if indeed it ever existed and was not just an unexectuted proposal.
