Full Description

{1} Earthworks of ridge and furrow.

{2} Extensive area of furlongs with headlands and joints, and meadow, attractively located in the parkland around Boughton House, running into Weekley and Kettering parishes. Various profiles of ridges survive according to the enclosure dates….. Warkton, Weekley and Kettering all have large scale open-field maps of the 1730s and detailed fieldbooks to go with them. All the parishes have excellent medieval and later records. Enclosed Boughton by the C16th, Warkton and Weekley 1807; 250ha.
