Summary

Fieldwalking survey identified four concentrations of Saxon pottery located very close to each other. Cropmarks of multiple pit-like features have been identified in the same area.

Full Description

{1} Four areas of early thick sherds in the usual black sandy fabric; as well as NGR sherds at SP77018925, SP77038910 and SP76958904. Also a laurel-leaf arrowhead from SP77048924. A likely site for more flints on ironstone near water. 78 sherds at NGR (B)
