Summary

A hoard of 45 brass coins in an urn with ring and chain hanging on it are said to have been found in the orchard of Chester House at some time time prior to 1720.

{1} Coin hoard found. Gives grid ref. as SP924669 but this seems too far to the east to be part of Chester house's land holdings.

{2} In orchard of Chester House were found 45 brass coins in an urn with ring and chain hanging on it.
