Monument record 726/0/34 - Late Iron Age/Early Roman Settlement Features

{1} Evaluation by Cotswold Archaeological Trust in 1992. A late Iron Age settlement site was possibly associated with the cemetery and comprised small pits, gullies and ditches. This was located to the south-east of the cemetery.

{2} Trenches 3, 6 and 10 yielded features which may be part of a late Iron Age settlement. These features included a gully that could have been part of a round-house drip-gully, pits, dirches and gullies. The features yielded late Iron Age pottery, burnt bone, flint. More detail.
