{1}WATCHING BRIEF; SEPT 1989; M.HOLMES; A1-M1 CONTRACT 6; SECTION OF DRAINAGE DITCH; 2 NE-SW. RUNNING DITCHES; IRON AGE POTTERY; BETWEEN DITCHES WERE POSSIBLE PITS & 4 POSTHOLES & SURFACE OF LIMESTONE SET IN CLAY; POSSIBLE ENCLOSURE & PART OF SITE TO WEST.(1);
