Full Description

{1} Settlement defined by a significant find scatter of odd 'forest' pottery like at Harrold, Bedfordshire. Industrial site. Lies on a watershed.

{2} Geophysical survey detected several discontinuous linear anomalies covering an area of up to 1.7ha. Their discontinuous form means no clear pattern can be indentified. There is also evidence to suggest for the existence of a possible rectangular enclosure. These anomalies also coincide within a site where a significant scatter of Romano-British pottery lies and therefore, can be tentatively dated to the Roman period.
