{1} Roman sherds found during fieldwalking in February 1966 at SP851579.

{2} In the area of SP852579 (Swing Gates), Roman grey ware and buff calcite gritted pottery was found in 1966.

{3} A little to the east (at SP852579) Roman pottery has been found.
