Summary

A Bronze Age inhumation with a Beaker was found during quarrying in 1903. The Beaker is in Northampton Museum.

Full Description

{1} Burial found in 1903, presumably during ironstone quarrying. A late Beaker was also discovered.

{2} The beaker is in Northampton Museum classified as early Bronze Age

{3} A beaker of rare type, with a moulded lip, was found half a mile west of Loddington church in 1903.

{4} The beaker is in Northampton Museum classified as Early Bronze Age and was donated by A Steele.

{5} No member of the Steele family, who at one time lived in Loddington Hall, survives.
