Full Description
{3} SP 8842 8024: A penny of Offa, moneyer Ethelnoth (Anglo Saxon Coins, Ed R.H.M Dolley - The Coinage of Offa, by C.E Blunt - Group III, Plate VI, No 97), was found by Mrs Chamberlain "some years ago".
{4} Mrs Chamberlain, 28 Weekley, who found the coin circa 1944 confirmed the find spot. The coin was sold and its present location is unknown.
