Full Description

{1} Iron Age Settlement (SP 813599). Air photographs (CUP, BJC 61–3 and in NMR) show a complex series of enclosures and ditches. Surface finds from the area include Iron Age pottery, some of Hunsbury type, associated with numerous pits.

{7} Fieldwalking survey undertaken in 1960 identified pits with Iron Age pottery with curvilinear decoration of Hunsbury Type, Iron Age bones, pebbles and Roman pottery.
