Summary

Cropmarks of a probable prehistoric and/or Roman settlement identified on aerial photographs. Cropmarks include adjoining enclosures, boundary ditches and a possible rectilinear field system. However, some of the cropmarks may be geological rather than archaeological in origin. Roman pottery has been found in the vicinity.

Full Description

{1} Ditch cropmark, (field system (?)), recorded on AP in 1981 at SP 549378. Ditches and enclosures (some features may be geological) recorded immediately to the east at SP 551377. [probably part of the same settlement]
