Full Description

{1} Two large worked stones were exposed during ploughing and moved to the field margin. They were later inspected by D. Jackson. Dimensions: length 1m, width at wide end 0.60m, width at narrow end 0.15m, depth 0.30m. The stones are triangular in form - most likely interpretation is that they are saddle stones. Presumed to be local although source undetermined.
