Full Description

{1} Ponds (SP 541475) lie north of the village, in the bottom of a valley draining west on Upper Lias clay at 132 m above OD. There are slight traces of two rectangular ponds lying within and south of a loop in the stream. In 1839 both lay in a field called Pond Close.
