{3} Roman pottery and tile has been found over about 2ha during fieldwalking in 1974
{4} The indicated site is a level hilltop at about 420ft ASL, now under pasture. Perambulation revealed no surface features or finds. OS air photographs (75/311/345-6) showed no evidence of occupation.
Northampton Museum are attempting to find additional information - this is to be forwarded directly to Archaeology Division if and when available.
