Summary

An early 19th century house situated on the northern side of West Street. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and a shallow pitch Welsh slate roof with ashlar gable end chimney stacks and parapets. The street frontage is a regular symmetrical layout with a three window range of eight paned sashes with stone lintels, key blocks and ashlar surrounds. A central entrance door has a moulded surround and open pediment with a rectangular leaded fanlight.

Full Description

{1} House. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and Welsh-slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Central, 6-panel door, has rectangular fanlight, with glazing bars, and moulded wood surround, with roundels and open pediment. 8-paned, unhorned, sash windows have stone lintels, with keyblocks, and ashlar surrounds. Ashlar gable parapets and stone stack, at ends. Interior has panelled window reveals and room to right of entrance has arch-head recesses flanking chimne breast.
