A windmill is depicted on a map of 1784. A small round building depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey may be the windmill, although it is not marked as such suggesting it had gone out of use

{1} Post medieval windmill shown.

{2} The mill may be the small round building shown in the 1880s within Staverton Clump. If so, it is presumed to have gone out of use by this time as the structure is not labelled on the OS map.
