Full Description

{1} M.Porter has walked some of the fields surrounding present day Bulwick. He has found in several fields furnace slag etc. He has written a note attached to one of his aerial photographs outliningwhere he thinks there is furnace (as well as identifying an old stream course going past this possible furnace). "There is a furnace site at the base of the bank where there is a possible modern brook by the hedge."
