Full Description

{1} Earthwork enclosure recorded at Harlestone. It comprises two banks with outer ditches in a shallow arc with traces of a third bank outside, isolating a promontary 50m long, level for up to 50m width, but including sloping ground on either side. The outermost bank now carries a footpath, with the next ditch and bank as a field boundary. Also a rectangular foundation 28x9m over a three metre wall, with two rooms occupies the intersect of the figure 8.???
