Full Description
{1}Three test pits were dug as well as two trenches 9.6m by 0.7m wide. Both trenches exposed a single u-shaped ditch. The ditch was 0.8m wide and 0.6m deep. Late Saxon pottery, together with animal bone and slag
{2}Ditch revealed 0.8m wide and 0.6m deep-late Saxon.
{3}A watching brief during the construction of a new conservatory at Gardenways revealed a ditch 0.8m wide and 0.6m deep of late Saxon date.
