Summary

A pit and gully were identified during trial trench excavation on land of Wales Street. Early Iron Age pottery and fragments of a human skull were recovered

Full Description

{1} A circular pit containing 38 sherds of early Iron age pottery. Small quantities of human skull came from the pit.A gully terminal produced 4 further sherds of similar date and had been cut by the pit.
