Full Description

{1}Found during widening and dredging of a stream in November 1990, a discoloured, light grey, poor quality, flint tranchet axe. Length 121mm, breadth 43mm and height 28mm.

{2} Mesolithic tranchet axe found by author

{3}Mesolithic tranchet axe/adze head manufactured from poor quality in light grey flint. Found along the stream edge at Saxby's Farm.
